Someone to think it through with, at any hour

RepairBot is an AI I trained on the whole ROGD Repair curriculum. When your child says something that knocks the wind out of you, talk it through with RepairBot before you respond.

Free to try. Already have unlimited? Open RepairBot and pick up where you left off.

Parents bring it things like
  • “My daughter just texted that I’ll never accept her. Help me reply without making it worse.”
  • “My son says I’m transphobic for asking questions. How do I respond without arguing?”
  • “My husband and I disagree about pronouns. How do we get on the same page?”
  • “Which lessons should I watch first for a 15-year-old who announced last month?”
  • “Here’s the transcript from my coaching session. What should I practice this week?”
What it is

A thinking partner trained on my approach

For the moments between lessons, when you need to decide what to say next.

Trained on my workMy approach, not the internet’sRepairBot learned from the whole ROGD Repair curriculum, my podcast, and coaching transcripts from families who consented. It draws on what I teach, not generic advice.
Any hourThere when I can’t beIn the middle of the night, before a visit, right after a hard phone call. Use it to think a moment through before you respond to your child.
Talk or typeIn 40+ languagesType, or call it and talk out loud. It works in more than 40 languages.
Gets to know youAdvice that fits your familyTell it about your family, what you’ve tried, how your child responded, and which lessons you’re working through. Without that, it gives generic advice. Like any part of the program, it needs your cooperation.
What it isn’t

Good to know before you start

RepairBot is a helpful tool, and it’s still just AI.

  • It isn’t me. It’s an AI trained on my work. It can sound like me, but it isn’t me.
  • It isn’t therapy, coaching, or medical advice. It’s a thinking partner for parenting decisions, not a clinician.
  • It isn’t for emergencies. If you or your child are in danger, call 911. In the US you can also call or text 988, the Suicide & Crisis Lifeline.
  • It can make mistakes. Use your own judgment, and check anything important.
  • It isn’t a substitute for the course. The lessons teach the approach; RepairBot helps you apply it in the moment. It works best alongside them.
